Birdies for Charity 2015

The Preuss School UC San Diego partnered with Farmers Insurance and the Century Club of San Diego to raise funds through the 2015 Farmers Insurance Open. These funds help achieve our mission to educate low income, highly motivated students who strive to become the first in their families to graduate from college.

The program is simple: Individuals and corporations make flat donations or pledge donations for every birdie made by the professional golfers during the competitive rounds of the 2015 Farmers Insurance Open.

Birdies for Charity also maximizes donations received with a bonus prize that is shared among the participating nonprofits. The more we raise, the more bonus prize we receive. We need your help!

HOW IT WORKS

  1. You decide what amount of money you want to pledge for every birdie the professionals make during the competitive rounds of the Farmers Insurance Open.
  2. Make a pledge for Preuss now.

The golf professionals made approximately 1,500 birdies in the 2014 tournament. EXAMPLE: If 1,500 birdies are made this year and you donated:

  • 1 cent: Your total pledge would equal $15
  • 5 cents: Your total pledge would equal $75
  • 25 cents: Your total pledge would equal $375
