School Site Council

The Preuss School Site Council (SSC) is a committee of parents, students, teachers and school staff that plays a vital role in shaping the educational experience at our school. The Council works as a collaborative group to focus on improving student achievement and school performance.

The Council’s primary responsibility is the development and approval of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP is the plan used by The Preuss School to outline specific and measurable goals to increase student achievement, including the expenditure of funds. In addition, the Council may form committees,as needed, to work on specific topics regarding student achievement.

The School Site Council meets quarterly. All meetings are held in-person at The Preuss School from 4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
