Leadership Changes at Preuss

Principal Scott Barton announced his retirement following 20 years of dedicated service to The Preuss School UC San Diego.

Pete Selleck (right), UC San Diego alumnus, has been appointed interim principal for the 2019-20 school year.  Selleck has been a member of the Preuss community since 2003. Following nine years of teaching and leadership experience in the San Diego Unified School District, he taught English and Social Studies, and coached the varsity basketball team at Preuss for five years. In 2008, after a brief tenure as dean of students, he was appointed as vice principal.

Danielle Agliam will serve as interim vice principal. Prior to the move, Agliam taught sixth grade, as well as serving in the exercise and health sciences, and athletics departments.
