Bio

I earned my bachelor's degree in English literature from UC Santa Cruz (Go Slugs!). I am a Teach for America - Greater Philadelphia alumna, where I taught 8th grade composition and earned my master's in Urban Education from University of Pennsylvania. I was thrilled to join Preuss' team of incredible educators and return to my hometown in 2019. I chose to work at Preuss because I am passionate about educational equity and helping future first-generation college students start new cycles of education in their families and communities. When I'm not at Preuss, I enjoy going to dog beach, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family.
