Bio
I teach Chemistry and Physics because I am passionate about helping others understand the natural world. I am proud of my work at The Preuss School UC San Diego because I strongly believe that all students should have access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to pursue higher education in science and math. I began teaching in 2002, after graduating from UC Berkeley and working at the Lawrence Berkeley Lab Cyclotron and the Scripps Institute of Oceanography. I have been at Preuss since 2016, and have also worked as a teacher at e3 Civic High and High Tech High North County. I grew up in San Diego, and enjoy gardening, reading, visiting art museums and DJ’ing with my collection of vinyl records.
