Timothy Carr

I am an 8th and 9th Grade Social Studies Teacher at the Preuss School UCSD. I am also the advisor for the High School ASB and I have a 10th Grade University Prep Class. Outside of the classroom I am a member of the Preuss School’s National Honor Society Council. I have been at the Preuss School since 2003 when I started out as the school’s first student teacher. I received my B.A. in Social Science at San Diego State University where I graduated from the University Honors Program Cum Laude. After my B.A., I went on to pursue my Single Subject Teaching Credential at the University of San Diego. One of my favorite interests is sports. I enjoy playing basketball, football and water sports. My favorite teams are the Preuss Tritons, Serra Conquistadors, SDSU Aztecs, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, Oakland Raiders, and the San Diego Clippers. Though I love sports, my true passion is helping young people exceed their expectations.
