Bio

My name is Indira Esparza Galeana and I teach 9th Grade Ethnic Studies and 12th Grade AP Government! I am a proud Preuss Alumna '11 and a proud two time UCSD CASP Alumna '15 and '16. I have a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Education and I have a Master's Degree in Education with a teaching credential in Social Studies, English, and a BLA in Spanish. It has been an honor to come back to Preuss to teach and to be a part of the Social Studies Department. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my niece and nephews, attending concerts, running, cycling, hiking, reading, and cooking.
