Bio

Howdy Social Studies Scientists! I started at Preuss as a tutor in 2008/2009! I came back to be a teacher in 2015 and have been here ever since! As a 6th grade social studies teacher, I will be guiding you through our past as we learn all about Ancient Civilizations, how farming started, and other cool technologies from long ago. We will use this knowledge to talk about what it means today and how we can improve our communities by learning from our ancestors. A fun fact about me is that I am Left-Handed (shout out to my lefties), love to be creative, and love to learn- especially when I get to learn from you, my students!

Animals: I love my Husky Golden Retriever, Charlie and my 20-pound cat that I found in a thrift store, Po Boy!
