Recognized by Newsweek as the top transformative high school in the nation for three years in a row, The Preuss School UCSD is a unique charter middle and high school for low income, highly motivated students who strive to become the first in their families to graduate from college. With nearly 100 percent of our graduates going on to higher education, Preuss shapes more than minds, we shape futures.
Seniors Mandy Chan and Saron Goitom are the 25th and 26th Preuss students over the last seven years to receive the coveted “good through graduation” scholarships.
For the third consecutive year, Newsweek has lauded Preuss for its ability to prepare low-income and first generation students for college and beyond.
Lives are transformed when dedicated teachers, hardworking students, supportive families and a caring community work together.
Preuss was also ranked the best high school in San Diego County, the 7th best charter school in the nation and 30th overall in the nation.
