We are now accepting applications for Fall 2010 Admission for the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades. You may download the application or pick up a copy at the school’s main office. The deadline to apply for Fall 2010 Admission is Friday December 18, 2009 by 4pm, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Information Sessions and School Tours
We are currently hosting informational sessions at various schools throughout San Diego County. You may find the most updated list of schools under Outreach Presentation Schedule.
If you would like to visit our school to learn more and to take a tour, you
can contact the Admissions Office at 858-658-7215 to schedule an appointment.
Appointments are usually available Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.
Who Can Apply?
The Preuss School UCSD will recruit and enroll the most promising youngsters entering the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade from the greater San Diego area. Applicants must meet all 3 requirements, both at the time of application as well as at enrollment. The three requirements are:
• All families must meet income eligibility criteria as defined by Federal
guidelines. You may view these guidelines here.
• The parents or chief guardians are NOT graduates of a four year college
or university.
• Student applicants must demonstrate motivation and potential to attend
an academically competitive university or college.
Students Currently on the Waiting List
Students who applied for Fall 2009 and were placed on the waiting list may reapply for Fall 2010. The student must fill out the entire Fall 2010 application to be reconsidered for admission. Important Note: The waiting list process has changed. Students on the waiting list must submit an entirely new application. We encourage you to reapply and wish you success in the current school year. Please contact the Admissions Department at 858-658-7215 for more information.
