Pete Selleck's Image A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Pete received a bachelor’s degree in History with programs of concentration in Political Science and Scientific Perspectives. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University. Mr. Selleck came to The Preuss School UCSD with nine years of teaching and leadership experience in San Diego Unified School District. At Preuss, he taught English, Social Studies, and coached the varsity basketball team for five years. In 2008, after a brief stint as Dean of Students, he became the Vice-Principal. Pete Says, “I feel very privileged to be a part of The Preuss School UCSD. I firmly believe in the mission of our school, and am proud of the accomplishments of our students and faculty.” In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, reading, and surfing.
