The Preuss School has an ambitious mission and, already, many remarkable accomplishments - this in spite of the fact that state and school district funds, utilized by all charter schools, cover only the most basic expenses such as teacher and administrative salaries, books and instructional supplies - the nuts and bolts of a traditional school. But we are much more than a traditional school, and our students will be more than average. That's why we cannot settle for just the basics.
You have the power to help offset the huge cost of our transportation - the buses that are necessary to bring our students to campus from neighborhoods throughout San Diego. You have the power to help fund the enhancements such as software and classroom supplies that bring a curriculum to life. You have the power to help with programs that prepare disadvantaged students for success in higher education and beyond.
